How it works

Study free, at your own pace
Every lesson, virtual lab and exam in the catalog is open to you the moment you sign in. You are not charged for studying, retaking a quiz, or using the labs.
Pay only for the credential
When you finish a program, you pay to have your certificate or diploma issued. Students enrolled before October 11, 2026 never pay, for any program.
Each course is fourteen short lessons with a knowledge check at the end, plus quizzes and a final exam, and labs that are graded on our side rather than self-reported. There is no cohort and no term to wait for — the catalog is open all year.
What to have ready
- An email address you check regularly — that's where grades, receipts and replies go
- A computer with a current browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari) and a stable internet connection
- Comfort with basic algebra. The first courses start from the fundamentals, so gaps are workable
- For a degree: a plan for steady weekly study. The associate degree is 63 credits across 6 terms
If you've studied before
We don't run a transcript review, and we don't sell transfer credit. What we do instead is let you move as fast as your knowledge allows: courses unlock as their prerequisites are completed, and nothing stops you from working through material you already know and moving on.
Our bachelor's courses open once the matching associate credential is issued, and our master's courses open once the matching bachelor's credential is issued. There is no automatic exemption for degrees earned somewhere else — if that's you, ask us before you spend time on the coursework.
Certificate programs are open-enrollment: no prior college is required, and no credential is needed to begin.
