Graduate Capstone in Clinical Engineering

This graduate-level capstone course serves as the culminating experience for students in clinical engineering. It challenges participants to apply advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills to a substantial applied research or technology management project. Students will define a problem, develop a methodology, execute their project plan, analyze results, and synthesize findings into a professional-grade written report. The course emphasizes critical thinking, project management, ethical considerations in healthcare technology, and effective communication of complex technical information. This intensive project-based learning experience is designed to prepare graduates for leadership roles in managing healthcare technology lifecycles and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and innovation.
