PLC & HMI Technician

A 12-credit certificate for maintenance and automation technicians. You start with controller hardware, wiring, and ladder logic, then build structured programs with timers, counters, and analog I/O, design and commission HMI screens with alarms and data logging, and finish with industrial networking, VFD and motion integration, and systematic troubleshooting of live control systems. Coursework is vendor-neutral and uses conventions common to Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and other major platforms.
