Surgical Table & Positioner Service Technician
A 15-credit certificate for technicians who maintain operating room tables and patient positioners. Electro-hydraulic pumps and cylinders, linear actuators, articulation and load limits, hand controls and control boards, battery systems, fault codes, electrical safety and brake testing, and working inside operating room protocols. The last two courses cover advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics, then inspection, regulations and compliance.

Inspection, Regulations and Compliance
This course provides in-depth instruction on regulatory compliance, inspection protocols, and safety standards for surgical tables. Students will learn to interpret and apply critical guidelines from industry bodies, ensuring equipment safety and operational readiness.
