Electronics Fundamentals Review

This Anode Technical Institute course provides an exam-level review of electronics fundamentals for students preparing for the Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) credential awarded by AAMI. Students apply circuit laws to DC networks and examine impedance, phase relationships, filtering, and frequency response in AC circuits. Lessons connect semiconductor devices, operational amplifiers, regulated power supplies, and digital logic to common biomedical equipment functions. Hands-on labs develop safe measurement and troubleshooting practices using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and current-limited bench power supplies on low-voltage training circuits. Original practice exercises, a midterm review, and a capstone project reinforce systematic fault isolation and clear documentation without reproducing real exam questions. Anode Technical Institute is not affiliated with or endorsed by AAMI.
