Reverse-Osmosis Water Treatment Systems

Students will embark on a comprehensive exploration of water quality standards and the principles governing reverse osmosis, beginning with an understanding of source water characteristics and pretreatment requirements. The course progresses through the various stages of water purification, including filtration, softening, and carbon adsorption, leading to in-depth coverage of reverse osmosis system components and operational parameters. Learners will gain hands-on experience with system installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and routine performance testing, ensuring optimal water purity for sensitive medical equipment. Emphasis is placed on safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and effective troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve common system malfunctions, preparing technicians to ensure reliable and safe water supply in clinical settings.
