Imaging Modes, Software, Networking and DICOM

This course from Anode Technical Institute examines B-mode, Doppler, elastography, and 3D/4D imaging from a service-technician perspective. Students explore how presets, processing settings, software versions, and licensed options influence available functions and image presentation. Networking topics include addressing, connectivity checks, and the configuration concepts underlying DICOM worklist, storage, and printing. Guided labs use simulated workflows or authorized training environments to investigate image-quality concerns and communication failures without exposing patient information. Students must follow the manufacturer's service documentation for system-specific procedures, compatibility requirements, software changes, and verification. Anode Technical Institute is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by Philips or Medtronic, and this course is not factory training.
