Advanced Troubleshooting and Board-Level Diagnostics

INF 190 focuses on equipping students with the expert-level skills necessary to diagnose and repair complex malfunctions in modern infusion devices. Emphasizing a systematic approach, the curriculum covers detailed schematic interpretation, signal tracing, power supply analysis, control board diagnostics, and sensor validation. Students will learn to distinguish between repairable component failures and situations requiring module replacement, critically evaluating cost-effectiveness and safety implications. Practical application of service manuals and diagnostic tools is integrated throughout the course, preparing technicians for challenging real-world service scenarios. This course builds upon foundational troubleshooting knowledge to achieve true board-level diagnostic proficiency.
