Curriculum
Term 2
Commercial Media Filtration and Ion Exchange Softening Systems
This course provides comprehensive technical training on the operational principles, hydraulics, and servicing of commercial granular media filters and ion exchange water softeners. Students develop critical field skills in multi-port control valve rebuilding, regeneration cycle profiling, hydraulic calculations, and routine maintenance protocols across commercial applications.
Commercial Reverse Osmosis and Membrane Separation Systems
This course provides practical training in the design, operation, and maintenance of commercial reverse osmosis and membrane separation equipment. Technicians will evaluate pretreatment strategies, monitor operating parameters, and perform clean-in-place procedures to maximize membrane performance and service life.
