Servo Drives and Motion Control

This course is designed to equip industrial robotics and motion control technician students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills related to servo drives and motion control systems. It delves into the fundamental principles of closed-loop control, servo motor types, drive technologies, and their integration within robotic and automated systems. Through a blend of theoretical instruction, simulated exercises, and hands-on laboratory work, students will learn to configure, operate, diagnose, and maintain complex servo-driven mechanisms. Emphasis is placed on safety protocols, practical troubleshooting methodologies, and performance optimization techniques essential for ensuring reliable and efficient operation of industrial motion control equipment in diverse manufacturing environments. This course is crucial for preparing technicians to manage and resolve issues in modern automated production lines.
