Certificate
Clinical Lab Analyzer Service Technician
A 12-credit certificate for technicians who service clinical laboratory analyzers. You start with lab instrument fundamentals — specimen handling, biosafety, measurement principles and analyzer architecture. Then you work through chemistry and immunoassay analyzers: photometry, ion-selective electrodes, reagent handling and incubation. Next comes hematology and fluidics: cell counting principles, flow cells, pumps, valves, probes and optical alignment. The final course covers calibration, quality control rules, preventive maintenance, error-log troubleshooting and service documentation. Coursework is vendor-neutral.
